Guess Who’s Graduating?!

Hi guys! Guess who’s been slacking on blogging lately? If you guessed me, then you’re right!

I’ve officially started my new job, I’m finding my feet, getting used to a new environment. I’ve moved to Edinburgh full-time and I’ve basically begun my *adult* life (she says like she didn’t watch Spongebob Squarepants for two hours after work).

Now my reason for my happy song choice and for writing this blog is… I got a 2:1!!!

For those of you who have followed me for a while, you will have caught all of the depression, anxiety and stress that came along with my university experience, but I can now say confidently that I achieved what I wanted and I think I’m ready to put education behind me.

Graduation

I have written a graduation post, I actually wrote it a couple of months ago, but I’m planning on posting it after my graduation in a couple of weeks. Fair warning: it’s soppy as shit.

I’m trying to be a bit of a better adult; go to the gym, eat better… neither of those things have happened yet but they are in my calendar. But the most grownup thing I did this week was throw out all of my clothes with holes in them.

I’m trying to relax a little after graduating, but after moving from place to place for so long, it’s been a bit of a shock to realise that I’m going to be in one place for so long.

Not to mention that I basically started over- I don’t really have a community or a friend group up here, now I have to forge a new life essentially. And that’s exciting (and terrifying) but I think we’ll muddle through together.

That was my quick update. Let me know how you liked it, and I know I say this every week but I’m going to try my very hardest to update more- and not just with the boring quick updates. Embarrassing anecdotes and drunken tales are coming your way!

Happy Monday! šŸ™‚
