Blogmas Day 2: Lush Christmas (1/4)

For today’s Blogmas post I’m going to do the first instalment of four Lush Christmas baths posts.

I adore Lush.  It’s kind on the environment, animals and my scaly winter skin. I kicked myself for not getting some Hallowe’en things from Lush so I’m not going to make the same mistake in the festive period.

I have already bought my Snow Fairy goodies, this year I got the shower gel and the jelly bath bomb, and I liked them but Snow Fairy’s not my favourite Lush product. My favourite is probably the Easter Golden Egg bath bomb.

Until now!

Today I tried the Shoot For The Stars bath bomb and Oh. My. God.

(And yes the background for this picture is my Where’s Wally? advent calendar.)

It turned the water a gorgeous deep blue and as the stars dissolved the bath was filled with sparkles. This is truly a beautiful bath bomb.

But wow the smell! It smells a lot like Golden Egg and I love Lush but I never order things online because I’m fussy and some of their products are very overpowering but this smells divine.

It’s a really comforting, soft smell of cocoa butter and a hint of orange, but not so much that you feel like you’re living in an orange, James and the Giant Peach style.

10/10, a stellar bath experience.

And this has made me really excited for the rest of my bath bomb posts!

Thanks for reading lovelies!

Happy International Day for the Abolition of Slavery. Today let’s think of those whose lives have been marked by slavery, and of those whose still are.

Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves. – Abraham Lincoln
